Description
This is a 3-star hotel located in Caldes de Malavella (Girona). The building is shaped like an arch, with a maximum length of approximately 93m and 10m in width. The complex has a basement, a semi-basement floor, and two floors above ground. The lower basement houses the facilities and a service gallery of approximately 2.20m, which runs throughout the building. The semi-basement floor is divided into two areas: one for parking and the other for the bar, terrace, administration, etc. The ground and first floors are dedicated to the rooms.
Structural design
The structure has solid reinforced concrete slabs supported on reinforced concrete columns located radially on regular axes, and with reinforced concrete walls in the basement. In the case of the ground and first floors, the columns are HEB type.
The foundation of the building is superficial with footings.
