Structural design

The basement floors house the parking, storage rooms, and utility rooms. All above-ground floors are designated for residential use, and the ground floor features a communal green area with a swimming pool. The building is divided into two parts by a perimeter expansion joint that separates the footprint of the building from the rest of the slabs. The structural joint is articulated by bending the pillars.

Horizontal and vertical structure

The horizontal structure of the building is made up of solid slab floors on the floors below ground level and waffle slabs with solid slab overhangs on the floors above ground level. The vertical structure of the building is resolved by means of concrete pillars and screens in the area of the vertical communication cores.

Foundation and containment

The building's foundation is made with a shallow slab in the area where there are only two basement levels and with driven piles in the area beneath the residential building. For soil retention, screen walls with an anchorage line are proposed. Given the building's proximity to the railway tracks, various structural measures are implemented to minimize the impact of vibrations caused by the passing trains.
