Description
bis's involvement in the "Centre Commercial Le Prado" project in Marseille has consisted of the design and structural calculation of the pedestrian bridge that connects the shopping galleries through the main courtyard of this complex of buildings.
Design and calculation of structures
The walkway is a mixed concrete and steel structure with a 17m span. It is formed by five girder beams connected to a composite slab. The design has been very exhaustive in considering the user comfort, as it is a lightweight structure under a very intense pedestrian traffic and, thus, prone to vibrations.
La participación de bis en este proyecto se completa con el diseño y cálculo de las estructuras de acero en cubierta destinadas a albergar la maquinaria de instalaciones del centro comercial.
