Description

It is a new development project located in Barcelona. The complex is intended for offices and consists of a basement, a semi basement and 6 floors above ground. The project is divided into three main areas: Tower A, Tower B and Central area. The vertical structure is composed of reinforced concrete columns located on a very regular grid of 8,10x 8,10m. In the central part of the towers, there are the reinforced concrete core walls that are design to resist the horizontal forces mainly due to wind and temperature.

The horizontal structure in most of the project consists of sandwich panels. There are other unique elements build with steel structures such as skylights, footbridges and the main stairs in public areas.
The plot was occupied by a foundation slab and a few diaphragm retaining walls half built that have been used for the new office building.
