Description
The residential complex consists of three distinct volumes in height, connected by a semi-buried floor. This floor is divided through expansion joints of the Cret parasin type with bent columns. The complex is intended for housing, leaving the lower level for garages and storage rooms.
Structural design
The structure is made of reinforced concrete with spans of between 6 and 7m, solved in the basement with solid slabs to meet the fire resistance requirements for the garage, and in the superstructure with ribbed slabs of lost formwork and solid slabs in some roof areas due to the high loads. Additionally, the stairs are metal and are formed by plates that allow certain visual permeability.
Foundation and containment
The foundation is resolved with isolated footings. The containment is divided into two typologies: one using a continuous screen, located at the perimeter of the plot, and another of two-sided walls inside the plot to create urbanization slopes.
Additionally, all the floors have cantilevers with significant spans that are cambered during the construction process to control the initial deformations.
