Maite holds a degree in Engineering from the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) and a PDD from IESE 2016. Specialised in structural mechanics, she has developed her entire professional career in the field of building engineering.

She began her professional career as a structural consultant in a well-known integrated engineering company in Barcelona. After 11 years developing structural projects, she decided to redirect his professional career towards business management. To this end, she joined Bis structures as its sales manager in 2007. The severe crisis that affected the sector between 2008 and 2014 increased the company's strategic activity and, with it, her participation in its management.

In 2014 she was appointed managing director of the company. In the initial stage, she structured the company in its positioning as a leading structural engineering company in the national market, tripling the turnover in 5 years. Since 2021 she has been leading the transformation to the integrated engineering that it is Bis today.

She is a permanent member of the Production Committee, the Management Committee and the Board of Directors of the company.
