Gemma graduated in Administration and Management of Public Companies from the International University of Catalonia (UIC).

In 1990, together with David Garcia, she founded bis, where she holds the position of Financial Director, carrying out functions of planning, asset and liability management, and strategic advice on the company’s various projects.

Alongside her role at bis, she has developed her professional career in the administrative services of the School of Architecture of Vallès (ETSAV) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), where she has led the school's international relations department.

She is a permanent member of the company's board of directors.
